It’s just not going to happen.
Case in point:
I write an interesting, well-thought out post meant to get people thinking and to elucidate something that I’ve been thinking about for a while, and I get this comment: “[re:] your next post, I assumed it would be the weekly Heroes discussion.”
I subsequently write the requested Heroes recap, and I get this comment: “Enough Heroes blogs already. Put something else up.“
Oof.
Just to clarify, I certainly wasn’t suggesting you stop posting about any particular topic, rather that I was hoping you were working on your weekly Heroes post, which I always look forward to. As it was already Friday and the show aired Monday, I reasonably (albeit incorrectly) assumed the Heroes post was on its way. My disappointment was 100% about that as opposed to the content/topic of any other unrelated posts.

Dan, you better rethink this sweet toned “You can post on any topic” comment in light of the recent post which has some seriously disturbing “Top Gun” overanalysis.
